Established in 1984, GENSA Chemical Industry and Trade Company has operationsin 2 different fields.  

1- LEADER IN PRODUCTION OF WELDING ELECTRODE RAW MATERIALS:

Being the sole producer of Electrode raw materials in Turkey, the Balkans and the Middle East, the company caters for the needs of several major Welding Electrode firms in Turkey such as AS KAYNAK, (Lincoln) Oerlikon, Gedik Holding and exports to 29 foreign countries. Having ranked among the top positions in exports for the last five years, the company has been recognizedas the second and third biggest exporter of Turkey in 2010 , 2011 , 2012 and 2020 respectively.Our products are pure know-how products.

We are represented in the largest international fairs. For the last 25 years, we have been opening stands and participating in some of the major fairs such as Germany – Essen Electrode fair, Singapore, Moscow, Indonesia and Israel international Electrode fairs.

Gensa has the technology and expertise of establishing and operating turnkey Welding Electrode factories. 

Thanks to our production capabilities, our company has been provided with research and development support by TUBITAK. 

2- PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY EXCLUSIVE POLYMER COMPONENTS USED BY DOUBLE-GLAZING AND INSULATION SECTOR;

BUTYL – HOTMELT – BAND BUTYL - BUTYL BANDS and ACTIVE MANGANESE DIOXIDE. GENSA is the one and only producer of these products. GENSA was also awarded the SME research and development support. 

Our company, which currently carries out its production activities in its factory in GEBZE, established its new factory on a 16,000 m2 site in the BANDIRMA Organized Industrial Zone and achieved a capacity increase. Having decided to focus on investing during the crisis period, our company completed its investment and has started production activities.   

Our company has held the Quality Assurance System ISO 9001 certificate since 1999.  

The main policy of our company, which has its own research and development laboratory, is to produce what is not produced in Turkey and contribute to Turkey’s economy and prestige.
